So, my friend and I were talking about why we unfollow people. Hers was for spoilers for her favorite shows, and mine was if someone says something super offensive like “let’s eat babies” or “I support murdering people”.
So, I really am curious as to why people unfollow. So please reblog with your answer or simply reply to this.
I most unfollow if the person unfollows me. Or if they start spamming too much, it gets annoying.
I only unfollow if a person’s posts on my dash unilaterally leave me with strong feelings of sadness or negativity.
True fact: I have only unfollwed 3 people since joining tumblr in July.
only if the spamming is something that i hate, then i just unfollow pretty much immediately. or any sort of kurtofsky wank. that’s instant unfollow.
If I get unfollowed, if I don’t agree with what they’re saying. I’ll go on sprees if I’m in a really bad mood. Or things like that.
I unfollow when they unfollow me first, when they post a lot of Blaine and when I see posts about animal cruelty without a ‘read more’.
I’ll unfollow if they unfollow me first or if they’re just acting like a raging dickbag.
I’ll unfollow if they unfollow me (although following me doesn’t always mean I’ll follow you back), or if they do nothing but act dramatically over every little thing.
What is the most horrific thing you have ever personally witnessed?
Man I really can’t say. I’ve been lucky enough to never have anything so horrible happen to me. Either that or I’m just really good at blocking out shit. *nod*
One thing that happened though was back in Thailand when I was probably 6 years old or something. Our family were in our car, making a legal U turn, when a motorbike crash into us. I only remember 2 things.
1) Mom screaming into my ear. She was holding me tight and maneuvered me away from where the bike was coming from, essentially shielding me. So that means I must have been small enough that she could have me in her lap in the front seat (this is more than 2 decades ago.. IN Thailand. hehe. I’m sure traffic laws were much different then)
2) We were in some kind of transportation vehicle, possibly ambulance. I only remember looking at the biker dude who’s laying down. He was still alive and talking. I was sitting close to his right leg. That’s just all I remember.
Basically everybody from our family was fine. No injury to Mom, Dad, Bro or Me. And that is literally all I remember. I think I’ve lived a surprisingly lucky life. Despite all that’s ever happened, nothing so ‘horrific’ ever really happened to or near me :)
